In March 2020, COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of schools in Zambia. Don Gordon School adapted within a short period of time and integrated to online home learning programmes. Following the MOGE and MOH guidelines in August of 2020 we welcomed back our exam class pupils. In September 2020 we completed a phased back re-opening approach. The start of our second term in October of 2020 saw our school active again with our learners happy to commence their daily schedules. The use of face masks became the new normal and part of the Don Gordon School uniform.
The “New Normal” that we are all globally facing requires adapted procedures in our working environment. Don Gordon School is therefore, following all government guidelines and We have put safety regulations in place to protect our students, parents/visitors and members of staff.
We are always monitoring and adapting our programmes in response to changes in the current circumstances, to ensure that we keep up to date with best practice and keep offering the best service to our learners and the community at large.
